Welcome to the OrderUp documentation

OrderUp ties point-of-sale, online ordering, payments, kitchen routing and back-office management together on one platform. This site is the public guide to using it.

How this site is organised

The guide is organised by task, not by which app you happen to be in. Most things a restaurant does span both the till and the back office — building a menu is configured in Management and rung in on the POS — so the page tells you about both rather than making you read two.

Training

Role-based training — short videos and printable checklists organised into tracks like New server, day 1 — lives in the Training hub.

The docs are organised by task; training is organised by role. If you are learning a job, start with training. If you are looking something up, start here.

Two things worth reading early

Whatever brought you here, these two pages prevent the most confusion:

Keeping this accurate

Pages declare how they were written. A page marked captured was produced by driving the real product; one marked authored was written from the system's behaviour and reviewed. The Edit this page link at the bottom of every page opens a change against the source.
